The interval is the two notes and the width of the note.

You can easily understand it by looking at the figure below.

aug4 / ♯4 is also known as tritone .

This tritone has a lot to do with thesub V code,so it’s a good idea to remember.

8va means one octave up, 8va means one octave down.
